In the unfortunate event that you do lose your ski, there are several ways to contact Whistler Ski Finder.

Placing a "Ski Finders Lost Ski Marker' in the area where you lost your ski lets people know there's a lost ski in the area.
The ski patrol may or may not still have these signs.
